Solid Bridge

For our Client - a leading and prestigious financial institution – we are looking for suitable candidate for Report Developer position. The candidate will be responsible for the development and maintenance of a set of global reporting portfolio as a key output of the Client & Sales MI team responsible for the design and delivery of accurate MI to support correct decision making processes.

Responsibilities:

• Develop reports and report packages for Client & Sales revenue across various dimensions (product-wise, client-wise, geographical coverage) and support analysis of key variances between views for a variety of users
• Work closely with Group MI and Market Sales teams to interpret requests and define reporting parameters, qualitative and quantitative data sets as well as relationships between revenue views
• Review, understand, analyse and document the customer performance metrics. Determine the appropriate views and explanations required to tailor the MI reporting to different user groups
• Establish and maintain good working relationships within function and with Business Partners. Responsible for the timely response to queries raised by end customers
• Participate in various Global work streams targeting significant investment upgrades, migrations in system architecture and reporting frameworks (liaising with MI IT)
• Identify and manage process improvements, for both internal and customer service improvements, ensuring Business As Usual and development activities remain focused on the Finance Target Operating Model
• Managing changes to business requirements ensuring appropriate changes are implemented within required timescales
• Plan and review reporting timeframes
• Ensure the delivery of automated or manually run reports to all end customers in adherence to key reporting controls via production monitoring in live environment

Requirements:

• 2-5 years experience within a Business or Finance environment as a Business Analyst/BI developer
• Extensive Business Intelligence experience to include Cognos, Business Objects, VBA, SQL and/or QlickView
• Understanding of ETL process & working with relational and dimensional databases
• High level of accuracy
• Experience working with finance systems would be an asset
• Ability to understand, interpret and meet business requirements
• Experience in working as part of a team, building and maintaining relationships
• Strong written and verbal communication skills including the ability to present information to senior management
• Fluent English (spoken & written)
