For our client, local representative of an international logistics company due to the business development we are currently looking a candidate for the position of Sea Freight Manager. 

Duties and responsibilities:

  • delivering a second to none service to customers
  • prospecting, cold calling and qualifying potential clients
  • market planning, personal sales execution and development of business relationships with existing and potential customers
  • building, maintaining and developing effective and efficient department set-ups and procedures
  • ensuring that customers are handled in a professional manner
  • ensuring that up-to-date procedures are in place and followed, and pro-actively looking for improvement opportunities that impact quality and/or efficiency
  • actively seek to understand and respond to the customers transportation and service needs  

Candidate profile:

  • have solid logistics/freight forwarding experience
  • have proven successful career within the industry (minimum 5 years)
  • speak fluent Polish and English
  • have excellent interpersonal and communication skills
  • have strong process management and analytical skills
  • have experience in business negotiations and sales
  • have people management experience
  • have strong commercial mindset
  • present result-oriented and innovative approach
  • be a self starter with strong drive, motivation and commitment
