Our Client is a transport operator concentrating on a international transport and local distribution activities. Due to continuous development we are seeking to recruit a Business Development Specialist. The right candidate needs to identify potential customers and business areas and cooperate directly with regional business and operation teams.

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Lead and organize tender process (project analysis, offer preparations, negotiations)
  • Develop sales of complex transport solutions
  • Develop Road Transport / Distribution products to potential customers
  • Explore the market according to the sales plan
  • Ensure delivery of the budget and business plans from a sales perspective
  • Cooperate closely with operations division to ensure proper customer service level

 Profile description:

  • Master degree (preferably Economics/Management/Logistics)
  • Minimum 3 years of experience in development of logistics services
  • Operational understanding of road transport processes
  • Strong analytical and management skills
  • Proven negotiation skills, customer focused,
  • Willingness to build a career path within contract logistics
  • Successfully dealing with customers, internal and external
  • Fluent in English
